Ceramic & Stone Installation

Durable elegance for your home's busiest spaces. Expert tile laying for bathrooms, entryways, and kitchens in Utah.

Waterproof & Built to Last

Expert tile laying for bathrooms and entryways. We combine aesthetic beauty with waterproof engineering for floors that last decades.

Tile is the workhorse of your home. It handles snowy boots in the entryway, steamy showers in the morning, and the heavy foot traffic of a busy family. But tile is only as good as the installation underneath it. A cracked tile or crumbling grout is usually a sign of a poor subfloor or improper adhesion.

At Prospera Home Solutions, we are obsessed with what goes under the tile. We use industry-leading waterproofing systems and uncoupling membranes (like Schluter-Ditra) to ensure your investment is protected from water damage and shifting foundations.

The Waterproof Promise

In bathrooms, water is the enemy. We don't rely on just tile to stop leaks. We install a fully integrated waterproofing system behind the tile, creating a watertight tank that prevents mold and rot in your subfloor.

Our Tiling Expertise

We work with all major formats, from classic porcelain to natural stone, ensuring level transitions and clean grout lines.

  • Ceramic & Porcelain Floors: Ideal for bathrooms and kitchens. We focus on "lippage control" systems to ensure perfectly flat floors, even with large-format tiles.
  • Natural Stone Entryways: Travertine, Slate, and Marble. We specialize in sealing and laying natural stone to handle Utah's snowy winters without staining.
  • Shower Walls & Pans: We build custom shower pans and tiled walls. We ensure the correct slope for drainage so you never have standing water.
  • Heated Floors: The ultimate luxury in a Lehi winter. We can install electric floor heating mats under your tile for warm toes on cold mornings.

Choosing Your Material

Porcelain

Harder than granite. Impervious to water and scratches. The #1 choice for durability.

Natural Stone

Offers unique, organic variation. Requires sealing but adds undeniable luxury and value.

Large Format

Modern 12x24 or 24x24 tiles minimize grout lines, making small rooms feel larger and cleaner.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to tile a bathroom floor?
For a standard-sized bathroom, typically 2-3 days. Day 1 for prep and laying tile, Day 2 for grouting, and Day 3 for sealing and replacing trim.
Can you tile over my existing tile?
We strongly advise against it. Tiling over tile raises the floor height (causing door issues) and relies on the old adhesive. We always demo to the subfloor for a fresh start.
Do you seal the grout?
Yes. Standard grout is porous and can stain. We apply a penetrating sealer after the grout cures to protect it from dirt and water absorption.
What if my subfloor is uneven?
This is common. We can use "self-leveling compound" to create a perfectly flat surface before tiling, ensuring your new floor doesn't crack or have lip-page.
