Secure Grab Bar Installation

Peace of mind for you and your loved ones. Professional installation of safety bars anchored into studs for maximum stability.

Prevent Falls, Maintain Independence

Essential for bathroom safety. We anchor grab bars into studs to support weight and provide stability for seniors.

The bathroom is statistically the most dangerous room in the home due to slippery surfaces and hard landings. For seniors aging in place, or anyone recovering from surgery, a securely installed grab bar is not just a convenience—it is a necessity.

At Prospera Home Solutions, we take safety seriously. We do not use suction cups or glue. We use industrial-grade stainless steel bars and anchor them directly into the wall studs or use specialized secure-mount toggles for tile, ensuring they can support up to 500 lbs of force.

The Danger of Suction Cups

Temporary suction cup handles can slip or detach when you need them most. We urge our Utah neighbors to avoid these. A professional, permanent installation is the only way to guarantee the bar will hold when full body weight is applied.

Professional Safety Solutions

We install safety features that are functional but also look good, matching your existing bathroom fixtures.

  • Stud Anchoring: We locate the studs behind your drywall or tile to ensure the strongest possible connection. If studs aren't aligned, we use ADA-approved specialized anchors.
  • Shower & Bath: Critical placement at the entry point and on the long wall of the shower. We have diamond drill bits to cut through porcelain and stone tile without cracking it.
  • Toilet Assist: Bars placed near the toilet aid in sitting and standing, significantly reducing strain on knees and backs.
  • Modern Styles: Safety doesn't have to look "institutional." We offer designer bars in Chrome, Brushed Nickel, and Matte Black that look like high-end towel bars but act like safety devices.

Strategic Placement

Shower Entry

A vertical bar at the entrance helps maintain balance while stepping over the tub edge or curb.

Hallways & Garage

Handrails at the garage entry (often 2-3 steps) are crucial for carrying groceries safely.

Toilet Area

Diagonal or horizontal bars installed at the correct ADA height for easy leverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you install grab bars on tile or fiberglass?
Yes. For tile, we drill through to the stud. For fiberglass surrounds where no stud is available, we use specific toggle-bolt systems designed to distribute weight safely.
Do you provide the grab bars?
We carry standard stainless steel ADA bars in our trucks (18", 24", 36"). If you prefer a specific designer style (like Moen or Delta), we are happy to install what you purchase.
How much weight can they hold?
When anchored into wood studs, a standard grab bar is rated to support up to 500 lbs. We test every bar vigorously after installation.
Is this only for seniors?
No! Grab bars are excellent for children, pregnant women, or anyone dealing with a slippery shower floor. They are a smart addition to any "Forever Home."
